A Work Day

Today is definitely a work day, dedicated solely to putting together the rest of the class kits for teaching in Oregon next week as well as packaging and labeling the tools that will be for sale.  It is a lot of work, but there is much satisfaction to be derived from neatly packed kits nestled in a box, extra materials organized and bagged, and my own tools and teaching materials efficiently stored and arranged for ease in both transport and use.  Of course, it does get a little messy while I'm in the process.

Sample baskets are already completed and packed.  Patterns for the students have been ordered (printing to be done on the mainland) and will be ready to be picked up.

An added bonus this year, since I teach there almost every year, is that we will not be camping or needing our sleeping bags.  Hurray for motels!  That makes the packing so much simpler.

Yes, this day feeds my love of organization and efficiency.  I'm actually eager to get started!
