Ten Years Old

Yesterday my eldest grandson turned 10 years old.  I remember when I was 10, and life was so much simpler then, in how we lived, in our responsibilities, our lack of homework, what we had to know, all the after school activities, and not being tied to electronics.

Well of course, we're two generations apart.  And saying it like that makes me feel ancient!

Ah me - I may need to let my child inside out to play today.  Maybe I'll get some bubble soap and blow bubbles off the ferry on the way back to the island - to celebrate!
