Cats and Electrical Cords

Whenever  my husband is here on the island with me, he plugs in his computer and invariable Sophie spends most of her napping times on top of the cords.  Why is that??

Evidently cats are attracted to areas of geopathic stress because they can neutralize those stresses and help the energy in our homes be more beneficial for everyone who lives there.  Or so I'm told.  Other articles suggested that we humans never sleep where our cat does, because they tend to choose these places.

However, Sophie also sleeps on my bed....and I'm not moving.
