Let me just say that Mesquite, Texas is not the place to come for fine dining. We have had very unfortunate experiences for two nights running. And the only option for a quick lunch ( that i wasn't allergic to) was fast food. Blech!
So tonight I'm going to try a salad by room service...... Can't possibly be any worse than what I've had so far.
Lovely class and students, however. And that is the important part. Plus I can regale my students with stories and wonders if the island - if course which makes me long to get back to it. Three more days of classes.......
